The Ontario Fire Department is always looking for good men and women to volunteer and become a member.
Ontario Fire provides the following to all members:
- All training is provided
- All required gear is provided
- Pager
What we ask for in return is the following:
- Your employer to be willing to let you respond
- Your willingness to attend trainings once or twice a month on Tuesday nights
- Your willingness to participate in fundraising activities throughout the year
Any person of good standing and health above the age of 18 shall be eligible for full membership. Those aged 16 and above are eligible to join in a junior capacity. Any person wishing to become a member shall fill out an application blank furnished by the secretary.
After the applicant attends three (3) meetings the secretary shall read the list of applicants and the voting shall be by a method approved by the Chief.
Any person receiving the majority of the votes cast shall be declared elected a member of the company.
If you feel the calling to help out and want to become a member stop in at any of our meetings held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm.
